The female Blackbird is still on the nest just outside the kitchen door. She has now been on the nest for 9 days and with incubation between 11 - 17 days we are hoping for all 4 eggs to be hatched safely. She spends most of the day on the nest, only occasionally getting off and going for a bath in the shallow pool by the pond or to take mealworms that we put out for her.Narrative with photos and videos about wild bird life and other critters seen in the garden and out & about on our travels.
